The Enneagram
What if there were a way of discovering your own personal route to growth and happiness?
What if this could show you your gifts and how to use them positively, whilst also showing you how to permanently let go of your negative patterns of thinking, reacting or behaving, patterns that can be self-defeating or destructive?
What if there were a system that would enable you to have real insight into yourself and the people in your life - into the differences that exist between your inner world and theirs, differences that contribute to the communication problems that make relationship dynamics so hard - and consequently experience an improvement in all your relationships?
Such a system exists – it is called The Enneagram. The Enneagram knowledge describes nine fundamental personality types and their complex interrelationships. Each type perceives their world, and those in it, differently, and has a different unconscious need that drives their outward expressions of behaviour as well as their internal thoughts and emotions.
The Enneagram has the same lineage as Yoga., This wisdom was used extensively in Ancient times, to bring about self-acceptance and spiritual growth and to increase peace and harmony in relationships. It has now been brought into a modern context to help people from all walks of life:
- to increase personal happiness
- to reduce difficulties and conflict within relationships – both personal and work relationships
- to increase confidence and self-worth
- to bring about more peace and harmony in all areas of life.
Your true nature is absolute positivity. Beneath your habitual, self-defeating patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving is the shining light of who you REALLY are. Just as lampshades obscure the light from a lamp, these limiting patterns prevent Your Shining Self from being expressed and experienced, and prevents true happiness and peace.
